  • Dose per pigeon: 0.2 ml.

  • Adjuvant: 1 mg Carbomer 934 P.
  • Preservative: 20 µg Thiomersal.

Uses

Provides active immunisation for pigeons, preventing mortality and clinical symptoms caused by Paramyxovirus Type 1 infection.

  • Onset of protection: 1 month post-vaccination.
  • Duration of immunity: 12 months.

Dosage and Administration

  • Single dose: 0.2 ml per pigeon.
  • Administration: Subcutaneous injection into the dorsal neck region. Shake the vial thoroughly before use.

  • Show pigeons: Vaccinate all birds annually, at least 14 days before the show season starts. Young birds can be vaccinated from 3 weeks of age.

Booster Vaccination

  • Administer an annual booster dose for both racing and show pigeons.
  • Timing may be adjusted to avoid interference with racing or show schedules.

Contraindications and Warnings

Special Warnings

  • Hygiene and isolation:
    • Prevent visitors with contact to unvaccinated pigeons from accessing the loft.
    • Quarantine new birds for 14 days post-vaccination.
